She was the beloved wife of Clarence Toman (deceased) and the dear mother of five children: Faye and George Bergman of Spruce Grove, Alberta; Elaine and Boyd Snider of Waterloo, Ontario; Earl and Cynthia (Harris) Toman of Ottawa, Ontario; Fred and Elsie (Bushman) Toman of Guernsey, Saskatchewan; and Barry and Margery (Olsen) Toman of Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. She has twelve grandchildren and twenty- six great-grandchildren. Born on March 5, 1920 at Tofield, Alberta, Fern was predeceased by her parents, Abram and Mary (Burkholder) Weber as well as her four sisters Dorothy (Martin), Edna (Torkleson), Wilma (Friesen) and Florence (Martin). She is survived by her two brothers, Norman and Lloyd. She is lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A funeral/memorial service will be held on March 9 at the Philadelphia Mennonite Church, Watrous, Saskatchewan.
